For the last week, my newsfeed has been blowing up with posts about the #NSALE AKA the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This is a HUGE epic sale that happens just once a year when all the brand new fall merchandise including clothing, beauty and home decor is discounted up to 40% off before it even hits the floor. Pretty crazy right!
So I’ve decided to officially hop on the bandwagon and share my top 10 favorite farmhouse decor items from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. But you’ll have act quickly… the sale only lasts through August 6 and items are selling out all the time. If you think you might want it… you might as well buy it because it’s FREE shipping. Prices will be shooting back up on August 7.

I don’t know about you… but I just love myself a cute, funny tea towel for my kitchen. They’re just so darn punny! (hehe… get it?) I know this sounds super nerdy, but I’m sort of a collector. Whenever I find one with a phrase that speaks to me, I just have to have it. I know there’s gotta be other addicts out there as well. Fellow Tea Towels Anonymous members… where are you? If you’re reading this and you’re already lost thinking… “what is this girl talking about?” you’ll find this article useful– What The Heck Are Tea Towels, Anyways?
I just love how it’s a fun, easy, inexpensive way to switch up the feel of your kitchen. I have some that are staples that I use all year round. Then I have others just for specific holidays or seasons.
So I’ve put together a list of my favorites to share. I’m thinking I’ll be purchasing a few of these to add to my towel drawer to add into the rotation.

Okay… the arrival of Summer is officially here… I know it’s not Memorial Day quite yet. But, the temperature hit 89 degrees in Illinois today. For us, that’s kind of a big deal!
So in celebration, I thought let’s talk summer style. Lately, I feel myself obsessing over beautiful, farmhouse wreaths. I’ve picked out my top 7 for the summer featuring some bold pops of color plus a few neutral staples.

As I write this post, I’m currently watching the season finale of ‘Fixer Upper’, and I’m just swooning over this gorgeous master suite that Jo and Chip have completely transformed. They have taken the original siding of the shack and used to create an accent ceiling. It’s just stunning!
You may not be able to accomplish that look all that easy… but you can make your own statement in your Master Bedroom with some beautiful bedding with farmhouse flair!
I’ve made it my mission to scour the internet for the best quilts, duvets and bedspreads all while staying on a budget. Here’s the best of the best…

How do I love thee, Target? Let me count the ways. But seriously though, is Target not the best? I mean… what other store can you walk into looking to buy just one thing and you walk out with a trendy outfit, some seasonal Dollar Spot finds and a bunch of new home decor?
Target has to be one of my favorite spots to shop for home furnishings. Not only is it budget-friendly, but it’s always on trend, and they really have something for every style. Lately, I have been loving all of the industrial elements I see in interior design. I’ve thoroughly searched Target to pick out the best industrial decor items.
1. Real Wood Floating Shelf – Threshold
Floating shelves are in! I’ve seen them used in bathrooms, dining rooms and everywhere in between. I really love them in all spaces. These real wood floating shelves come in three different sizes so that you can style them in any size space, or you can stagger them with all different sizes for a more unique look.

The weather this weekend has been beyond AMAZING. In Illinois, it reached almost 70 degrees! I honestly can’t remember a February ever being that warm. The warmer weather has me craving some spring goodness. This year’s spring decor is all about neutrals, galvanized metal, wood accents and greenery. I’m absolutely loving it all, and just can’t get enough. Hobby Lobby is really killing it with their spring style. So I’ve decided to share with you my favorite spring decor finds from Hobby Lobby.

Since moving into our new home I feel like there’s so… many spaces that I want to re-decorate. But I think it’s important to start small. So my first room I’m planning to tackle is our guest bathroom. It’s not a huge space at all. The last few weeks I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect shower curtain. When decorating a bathroom, I like to start with finding a shower curtain, and then building the ‘feel’ around it. Here’s a collection of my fav five farmhouse shower curtains for those on a budget.
